Salary Range: $67,000 - $101,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Manistee that are seeking Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection plans.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conformances.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in quality and efficiency.
• Lead and participate in internal and external quality audits.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product quality from concept to launch.
• Utilize statistical methods to analyze data and drive process improvements.
• Create and maintain quality documentation, including work instructions and control plans.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
• Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D).
• Experience with metrology and inspection techniques.

Bonus Qualifications

• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
• Experience with statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP) for data analysis and process improvement.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies and Lean manufacturing principles.
• Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data acquisition and analysis.
• Experience with automated inspection systems and vision systems.
