Salary Range: $71,000 - $108,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test plans and procedures for manufactured products.
  • Design and build test fixtures and equipment to automate testing processes.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and document findings.
  • Collaborate with design and production teams to resolve product defects.
  • Perform validation and verification testing of new product designs and manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain test equipment calibration and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Generate test reports and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for testing methodologies and product quality.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Pytest, Robot Framework).
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, C++, Java).
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Experience with hardware testing and validation, including knowledge of common test equipment.
  • Ability to develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures.

Bonus Qualifications

  • - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software.
  • - Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and their application in testing.
  • - Familiarity with automated optical inspection (AOI) systems.
  • - Experience in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
  • - Understanding of Six Sigma methodologies.
