Warehouse Manager | East Lansing, MI

Salary Range: $76,000 - $116,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are collaborating with multiple companies in East Lansing seeking experienced Warehouse Managers. These organizations value long-term fit and are looking for professionals who bring both skill and alignment. By joining our network, you gain access to opportunities tailored to your goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods.
• Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Manage and develop a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency, productivity, and space utilization.
• Collaborate with production, logistics, and procurement teams to ensure seamless material flow and on-time delivery.
• Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to reconcile inventory and identify areas for improvement.
• Manage equipment maintenance and procurement to ensure operational readiness and safety.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in warehouse management within a manufacturing environment
• Proven expertise in lean manufacturing principles, inventory management (e.g., FIFO, cycle counting), and warehouse optimization
• Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse personnel
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software
• Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for warehouse operations

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software.
• Demonstrated ability to implement and optimize warehouse automation solutions.
• Certification in Inventory Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
