Key Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial robotic systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, and software issues in robotic cells.
  • Execute repairs, adjustments, and component replacements for various robot models.
  • Assist with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new robotic equipment.
  • Modify and optimize robot programs (e.g., path adjustments, I/O) to enhance production efficiency.
  • Calibrate robotic arms and end-effectors to ensure precision and repeatability.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations when operating and servicing robotics.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA).
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints.
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical malfunctions.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++ for advanced robot control or data analysis.
  • Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) for inspection or guidance applications.
  • Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet) and basic IT troubleshooting.
  • Basic proficiency in CAD software for reading schematics or modifying cell layouts.
